Matthew Scott

Born in 1986, Matthew Scott studied composition at Colorado State University under Dr. Forest Greenough, Dr. David Wohl, and Dr. James David, working also within a student-run group, the New Music Forum. While at CSU, he was president of the Student Composers Alliance. While his focus is primarily on choral music and the unique sonorities capable within a choir, he also writes for piano and small mixed ensembles.

Matthew works as the founder and president of Matthew J. Scott Music Publishing, a company striving to bring new and less well-known composers into the spotlight.
